Hello friends of Westfield Golf Club. Please see the updated golfing information from the Westfield Board of Directors:
- Early Bird Scramble will be pushed back to May 4th. The Two Man Scramble will be put on hold and will be played on July 27th or stay with the Texas Scramble that was scheduled for that day. This will be up for discussion and member recommendation. Landon will be posting how he planned on running the Two Man Scramble and hopefully we will get feedback and make a decision.
- League information will be released this week. The Five O’clock will be listed as starting on Thursday, April 11, as scheduled. If course is not open, it will go down as a rain date. Team numbers will be a random draw. This will mix up the order in which teams have played in the past. Payback for season end will be reduced to 25% of total teams in league (IE 16 team, 4 team payback).
- Yearlong Two man, Individual, Two women, Individual and Junior Individual has been finalized. These will be labeled as “Westfield Club Championship”. A posting will be listed at the Pro Shop for explanation and sign-up. A few highlights are: Open to everyone, members only. Two weeks to play, schedule will be posted. Match play. Pay back will be approx.. 60%-40%, two places. $10 entry, $5 entry (Juniors). Must have minimum of 12 teams to run. Starting May 1st. 18 holes, one day. No matching cards. Summer rules. USGA rules. Deadline to sign-up by April 29th.
